During tanning, the untreated leather is rotated in large wooden drums with the addition of olive oil and plant extracts. Treatment with natural tanning agents makes the leather soft and supple. Similar to a fingerprint, there is no mechanical embossing of the leather, making each Tony Perotti product an absolute one-of-a-kind.
