TWSBI was founded in Taiwan in 2009 to offer high-quality fountain pens to writing enthusiasts worldwide, pens that could always be repaired and maintained by the user. This focus on independence and individualism underscores TWSBI's goal of bringing art and literature back to life. The company's name is composed of an acronym for a Chinese idiom (SWT) and the Chinese word for writing instrument (Bǐ).

Thanks to its transparent barrel, the character of the Diamond fountain pen changes with each ink color and offers an exciting glimpse behind the scenes of the piston mechanism. Equipped with a durable stainless steel nib, the fountain pen offers a carefree writing experience and makes it easier for writing beginners to start writing with a fountain pen. The Diamond is a piston filler and thus equipped with the most classic of all filling mechanisms. The threaded cap motivates the writer to approach writing more deliberately, resulting in more thoughtful writing. Furthermore, the fountain pen is equipped with a precious resin grip section.
